Live Empowered Learning Center’s services are designed to support and empower students, teachers, and families across a wide range of academic needs. Our goal is to come alongside each learner and provide targeted, compassionate support that builds confidence, independence, and long-term success. We do this through NILD Educational Programs as well as academic support services.
The goal for our population of students with learning challenges is to focus on strengthening academic skills, cognitive processes, and self-advocacy to propel them to reach their full potential. NILD Educational Therapy

NILD (National Institute for Learning Development) Educational Therapy is a research-based approach that strengthens the processes of learning rather than just reviewing schoolwork. It’s especially effective for students with learning differences such as dyslexia, ADHD, or processing challenges.
Our NILD sessions provide:
One-on-one instruction with a trained educational therapist
Research-based techniques that build memory, attention, reasoning, and problem-solving skills
Support for students struggling with reading, writing, or math
Tools that strengthen how a child learns, not just what they learn
Increased confidence, independence, and long-term academic success
Feuerstein's Instrumental Enrichment (FIE)

FIE is a cognitive intervention that helps students become better thinkers and more independent learners. Rather than teaching academic content, FIE strengthens the thinking and executive functioning skills that make learning possible, skills like problem solving, planning, organizing information, and self-regulation.
Students learn to approach challenges thoughtfully, recognize patterns, and apply these strategies across every subject and in everyday life. In short, FIE teaches students not just what to think, but how to think.
Speech/Language Therapy Services

Strong communication skills are the foundation of learning and connection. Our speech and language therapy services support children in developing the skills they need to express themselves clearly, build confidence, and succeed academically and socially.
We provide individualized therapy to address:
Speech sound production (articulation and clarity)
Language development (understanding and using words, sentences, and concepts)

IEP Meeting and Consultation Support

Navigating the school system and advocating for your child’s needs can feel overwhelming — especially when it comes to Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings. We’re here to provide guidance, support, and confidence throughout the process.
Our IEP consultation services include:
Reviewing your child’s current IEP and educational history
Helping you understand your rights and options as a parent
Preparing questions and strategies before meetings
Attending IEP meetings with you (virtually or in person, if available) to ensure your child’s needs are clearly communicated and addressed
Following up with actionable recommendations after the meeting
